The kids of Amitasha undergo a routine medical checkup on an annual basis. Their height and weight are measured and assessed in order to monitor the growth of the child. A thorough check up of the ear, nose and throat is also conducted. Children are given iron and vitamin tablets as per their requirement. Besides, a routine blood test takes place every month and the records for the same are maintained. Children are educated on health and hygiene and are also encouraged to follow healthy habits as part of their daily routine.
Students undergo an eye test
The students at Amitasha are given milk & biscuit and fruit & snack on alternate days as part of their daily meal, free of cost. This diet programme is planned in such a way that it meets the nutritional requirements of the students.
