Founding Group

Amitasha was established on April 7, 2000 by Amity Humanity Foundation under the guidance of Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan (Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools) for ameliorating the condition of the less privileged girl child.


The Amitasha schools run at the Amity International School braches of Saket (New Delhi), Noida, Gurgaon (Sec-43 & Sec-46) and Mayur Vihar (New Delhi). Amitasha provides education to girls up to class XII with special emphasis on co-curricular and personality development programmes.


Amitasha provides free education, uniforms, books, meals and healthcare facilities along with personality development programmes


Amitasha students not only learn various subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Science etc. but also participate in various activities like science exhibitions, cultural programmes and craft exhibitions.


From a humble beginning with 35 students, Amitasha now provides education to over 1000 less privileged girl children today.


Among a list of noted accomplishments, Amitasha successfully prepared its first batch of students for the CBSE exams in 2012.
